Check-in was smooth, and so was our connection in Houston. We arrived in Tegucigalpa a little early (around 1 p.m. your time) and went to a mall for lunch. We are now at Julio's, the place where we will stay.
We are getting ready to assemble food packets for distribution tomorrow in Guajire, which is the village where we are concentrating our work. We will build a classroom for the church tomorrow also.
Everyone is doing really well! We certainly appreciate your prayers.

Allen,
So glad to have gotten the Skype call from Denise when ya' all arrived. It eased my mind a lot.
Please let her know that Reece is back home and doing well (after a lengthy shower). If they gave an award for the dirtiest and stinkiest camper, he'd have won hands down. She'll have no problem believing that.
Tell Lori I spoke with Kurt at the camp. I think reality had finally hit both of us that we were, indeed, on our own. We just kind of stood there with dazed looks and feeling sorry for ourselves. I told him about Skype, he's going to try to get an account setup. I have set one up and sent a request to the account I believe is yours.
I also spoke with your mom and dad and let them know you had all arrived safely.
We are praying for you all and know that you will touch many lives.
Please pass along our love to Denise and Hannah and let them know we are very proud of them!
-Jody and Reece
