Encouragement!
I showed this video this morning as a part of my sermon about encouragement. God "comes alongside" to encourage, and we are to do the same for others, with the encouragement we receive from God.

I had mixed emotions as I watched the video.Tears as I thought about my strained relationship with my earthly father, mixed with tears of joy from knowing the awesome love of my heavenly Father.I pray I am always willing to give encouragement as I receive it from God.

Very good point you make, Don! Not all have earthly fathers who will "come alongside" to help and support, but you nailed it: God is the Father who will. Thanks for your thoughts!
