Amy Grant's "Better than a Hallelujah"
Wow! I heard this for the first time today. I've always enjoyed her music, but the message of this song is really powerful. Reminds me the story of the Pharisee and the tax collector, found in Luke 18:9-14.

I'm getting old enough that I can repeat stories without apology. Right?
I'll make it very brief. One of my "brushes with fame" was when I spent a couple of nights in the home of Amy Grant's parents. It was really neat, and they were wonderful hosts.
How did it happen? It was a few years ago, and I was a speaker at a conference at Lipscomb University. They put the speakers up in various homes, and I was given the Grant's.
I had a very nice guest room, which had a large closet. The door was open, so I peeked in. There were several of Amy's awards that she had received over the years. No, I didn't take any of them. They were all too big to fit in my suitcase.
